ABOUT JERRY

Jerry was raised in Seattle where he graduated from Ingraham High School. He is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound as well as a graduate of the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia. He served one year in Viet Nam as an Infantry Platoon Commander, receiving several personal decorations for gallantry and leadership in combat. Upon discharge in 1970, Jerry moved to Spokane...first working as a job superintendent for American Contracting and Design Co. Inc, and then operating his own contracting company.

JERRY'S REAL ESTATE CAREER

Jerry was licensed as a Real Estate Sales Associate in 1973 and obtained his Real Estate Broker's license in 1975. He has been active in the real estate profession ever since. He had his own office on Spokane's South Hill...operating as Gerald Boyd and Associates for 25 years. He has served as president of the Real Estate Traders Club of Spokane, the president of the Spokane Association of Realtors and has twice served as vice-president of the Washington State Association of Realtors. He was selected by his peers as the Spokane Association's "Realtor of the Year" in 1992. Now associated with Windermere Real Estate, Jerry is partnered with his wife, Patti Boyd, and they are operating as the "Boyd Team". They have been recognized as one of the premier teams in the Spokane area for the past 10 years.

IN THE COMMUNITY

Jerry has served as youth soccer coach and done volunteer work for the Manito Lions Club, Meals on Wheels, Habitat for Humanity and the American Cancer Society. He has served as president of the Hamblen Park Elementary PTA, president of the Manito Lions Club of Spokane and president of Manito Golf and CC. He and his wife Patti are active members of the Sacred Heart Parish.
