A more recent addition to the Spokane area, Lorelei relocated to Spokane from the Seattle area in 2000 to complete her education. While attending Washington State University’s Interdisciplinary Design Institute, Lorelei immersed herself in the local building, design and historic preservation community to put her passion for the built environment in to practice.
Lorelei is known for being uniquely qualified to ascertain not only a client’s needs, but their wants and desires. Serving clients is Lorelei’s passion. Matching her clients with the perfect home brings about the highest level of satisfaction and joy to her.
A highly developed sensitivity to the complexities of selling and buying real estate, Lorelei’s ability to be extremely organized and detail oriented helps her to proactively anticipate needs which helps to preclude issues that may arise during a transaction. Buying and selling can be a stressful time for both buyers and sellers. Lorelei’s clients enjoy her ability to manage a transaction and respond to challenges that can develop.
Although completing her undergrad studies in 2004, and graduate studies in 2006, Lorelei has worked in the building and design trades since 1986. Her graduate thesis was formed from the tenets of phenomenology – the theory of place making and the meaning of space (you can read more about that here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phenomenology_(architecture). Our homes are our most meaningful places. It’s where we spend our most cherished times. A home which answers our needs and desires is critical to the success of the buying process.
Lorelei spends her non-working hours in search of the perfect riding trail with her Appaloosa horse, Buckwheat. On frequent occasions, she can be found on local stages performing swing and bluegrass music with her fiddle (the same one on which she began playing at age 7), accompanied by her husband, Mark, on his upright double bass. Puttering around the farm with their 2 horses, 5 goats, 2 West Highland Terriers (terrors), and 5 cats brings her much joy and delight.
